Products - Emergency Services Emergency Services Selecting the right exhaust system for your firehouse is dependent on a few factors. Vehicle positioning, direction of exit, tail pipe location (undercarriage or overhead), future expansion are just a few. The most common firehouse/EMS application is a single appartus backed in the station with an undercarriage exhaust tailpipe. This is typically a sliding balancer track (SBT) product application. If multiple vehicles with undercarriage exhaust tailpipes are parked in tandem (one behind the other), a straight rail (STR) would then be a considered product application. Vehicles with overhead exhaust tailpipes typically use a vertical stack rail (VSR) system.
Back in Systems SBT It is important for the health and safety of your personnel that all codes, standards, and recommendations by government and private agencies be recognized and adhered to in your purchasing decisions. |
